One of my shots featured in a previous post, taken at Glencoe, has been rather popular. It won a competition and has been much admired which is both pleasing and humbling. Fortunately I made a short film whilst I made the photograph and within it I describe how I caught that 'moment'.
The actual shot published was taken just after I finished filming, when a second, broader wave of light came down the mountain. However the process was the same. You can also see the effect of the graduated filter in the final photograph against the blown out sky in the video.
I like to offer alternative ways of showing how and what Ive done, so to save more boring text, watch away.
So, enjoy, the final shot is also below.
